Jowamandari Resort offers breakfast, lunch and dinners Balinese and Western style. We help you with the right transportation and we even organize shopping tours. You can have a nice massage or listen to Balinese music.
Breakfast
Each morning we serve a mixed tropical fruit breakfast with rice delight, at your convenient time and in your convenient quantity. Highly recommended for weight-watchers. Fruit breakfast is included in price of the villa. Our menu offers different other possibilities.
Lunch and dinner
For lunch and dinner we use catering facilities of two local restaurants. This way we can offer a large variation of excellent Indonesian and western style dishes for low prices.
Transportation
The safest and easiest way to travel through Bali is by car with driver. A driver with car will charge you 25-30 euro per day. For short trips we recommend the high quality Blue Bird taxi, available at any time for very reasonable prices.
For very sporty folks we have some push-bikes available. Very nice for getting acquainted with local villages Pererenan an Padang Linjong, and trips to surf beaches.
Also small 115 cc motorcycles are for rent for 7-12 US$ per day. You need a motorcycle license and international driver license. A big 1400 cc Harley Davidson can be rented for 75 US$ per day. Other big bikes are less expensive. Bali is a real motorcycle island: warm weather and outdoor living. But let Wally explain to you first about Balinese traffic "rules".
Shopping tour
Wally (your host) organizes - on demand - half day shopping tours to all interesting shopping sites in the neighborhood. She will show you how to bargain prizes at traditional market, best antique shops, bird market and other places of interest. We also help guests who want to buy and ship home wooden furniture, carved stone or accessories. The tour ends with a lunch at authentic and famous warung in Denpasar.
For commercial buyers of accessories, jewelry and furniture, Wally knows most of high quality low price wholesalers in south of Bali. Buying prices for jewelry range from 15 - 20 % of western retail prices, so you are guaranteed interesting mark-ups.
Massage
The authentic Indonesian massage is world famous. Ketut is well trained massage professional, who will treat each sore muscle. We call her "docter massage" because she is strong and effective.
We also recommend to combine a good daily massage with two or three fruit days, to clean and purify the body. We will help you with delicious lemon juice, typical Bali fruits and mixed fruit juices. After this treatment you will feel reborn.
Music
Once or twice a week week we invite local musicians to play gamalan music or sing traditional Balinese temple songs. You can listen from your lazy chair on your veranda or even from a pool bed.
